"Another pleasant stay - I'll definitely be back!"
Golden Tulip is THE place to stay when you visit Accra, whether it would be for business or for vacation - kind staff, clean rooms and a wide variety of facilities. A very romantic ambiance at night due to the lighting up of the pool and live music. Don't forget to visit the inhouse Beauty Salon for a massage as well.

"The only place I stay in Accra"
After trying three different upper end hotels I will only stay at the Golden Tulip! It has a very "African" feel but has all of the modern conveniences this American, world traveler needs: clean rooms, hot shower, comfortable bed, fresh coffee, a big breakfast and even good wine at the bar.You can exchange money right at the hotel. I forgot my bathing suit and bought a pretty one at the gift shop. They even had diet coke! We used the hotel drivers several times and organized a wonderful day trip out to the Rain Forest Canopy Walk and Cape Coast Castle at the travel desk. The live music poolside at night and delicious seafood grill were a real treat.

"Luxury at Accra, Ghana"
If you are looking for a luxury living in Accra near the Airport, I trust Golden Tulip should be your first choice. Excellent rooms, great service and a big restaurant in the basement. The stay would be pleasant and they have quite a few conference halls for any business meetings.The only negative that I could think off is that there is no thermostat control for the Air-con in the room (only speed adjustment) and these air-cons were a bit noisy. Whats more!! I could watcch IPL#6 live in local TV channel...wow.! Room Tip: If travelling as a couple / family, Insist on a King / Queen Size bed during reservations, there are plenty of rooms with Twin beds and looks like that will be the default choice at the front desk while allotment.

"Airport Pickup"
“Great to get picked up form the airport after a long and tiring flight, and to go somewhere to relax for my first night in Ghana. I liked having a drink at the pool bar, and the lovely buffet breakfast. Great exchange rates at the Fedex bureau.”
